I enjoyed your podcast, especially the way you mixed extra effects into it, as well as your presentation format - which reminded me of a live radio segment.
If I may, I would like to offer a few comments and suggestions...
* Plan roughly what you are going to talk about - this will add merit to the podcast and remove segments of err-ing, etc! (and the mouse-clicking!) Maybe prepare 5 mins before so you know exactly what you will talk about.
* I don't know if you planned to do this, but an update each week might prove to be effective, with the main and most important facts and news in the podcast.
* Also, if you can offer something exclusivly to your readers, like building tips, etc, then I think it will really take off! Maybe, if you have time, create some "secret content" and provide the location in each podcast, maybe a password, or a hidden document on your blog somewhere.
Overall, I was amazed at the quality of the podcast, and enjoyed the overview of each site, however I think stronger techniques like those mentioned above will help you get your podcasts out there! Then you can advertise on the NXTStep and NXTasy.
Hey Guys!
ReplyDeleteIt would appear that other users will need to sign up to access your storage solution, may I suggest an alternative?
Windows Live SkyDrive is pretty good, you can even select who can and cannot view your podcast files. There are other solutions as well.
Good Luck with your podcasts!

Thank you linear, I'll try that.

Thanks again Linear! My dad listened to our Podcast, and he said pretty much what you said.
